The mission of the Community Foundation of the Valleys is to inspire, encourage and facilitate charitable giving for lasting impact on those who live or work in the San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita Valley.  Local nonprofits now more than ever need the financial support of local residents and businesses in order to provide vital services to our neighbors in need.

Community foundations are located in every state and metropolitan area in the United States, and in each location, they solicit and manage donor advised funds, small family foundations, nonprofit reserves and endowments, and business charitable giving funds.  Individuals, families or organizations that choose to invest with the Community Foundation of the Valleys can focus on charitable giving to the nonprofits that match their values, rather than being concerned with the day-to-day management of their endowments or funds. 

Through our financial partner, the California Community Foundation — which was founded in 1915 and has more than $2 billion in assets — we have access to their financial investment services and can offer our Donor Advised Fund holders maximum financial security and benefits simply not available to local donors anywhere else.
